The Norbertine Canonesses of the Bethlehem Priory of St. Joseph In Tehachapi, California, have announced the joyful news that, on December 5, they elected Mother Mary Oda (Jennifer Tilley ’02), O.Praem., as their new prioress!

When she graduated from 91����, California, in 2008, Meghan Duke never imagined that she would one day join its teaching faculty, let alone at a new campus in New England. She never even expected to attend graduate school.

Returning to teach at 91����, California, is a homecoming of sorts for Dr. John Finley (’99) — in more ways than one. Not only is he an alumnus of the College, he is also an alumnus of the faculty.

Growing up in Dallas and Houston, Texas, Joshua Lo (’12) nurtured dreams of becoming a concert cellist. Yet he reconsidered those dreams when he enrolled at 91���� in 2008.

Dr. Sarah Kaiser (’02) is among the first of 91����’s second-generation tutors, joining her father, veteran tutor Dr. Thomas J. Kaiser (’75), on the College’s California faculty.

Alumna reporter and producer Mary Rose (Bacani ’03) Valenti traveled to California for her 20th reunion, then released a documentary about the experience.

“We live in such a safe environment that we get disconnected from nature, and people don’t appreciate how most of the world lives,” says Michael Core, a member of the 91���� President’s Council from Thousand Oaks, California. “I wanted to give an experience to a TAC graduate that would take them way out of their normal element.”
