An alumnus priest, the Very Rev. John M. Berg, F.S.S.P. (’93), has once again stepped up to the challenge of becoming the superior general of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

Discussing the fundamental difference between man and woman — and the corrosive effect of gender ideology on global culture — TAC alumnus and tutor Dr. John Finley (’99) recently appeared on “EWTN Live” as well as the “Power and Witness” podcast.

“After inquiry among the Christian people and upon recommendation of those concerned with their formation, I testify that they have been found worthy.” Thus spoke the sponsor of Frater Moses Pavel (Luke ’14) Blain, O.Praem., moments before the Church welcomed a new priest into her ranks on June 29.

By God’s grace, Frater Moses (Luke ’14) Blain, O. Praem., will be ordained to the Sacred Priesthood of Jesus Christ at the hands of the Most Rev. Bishop Kevin Vann, Bishop of Orange, California. ​

“I was drawn to the priesthood somewhat in my early years thanks to the witness (of) some of the priests I knew growing up,” Rev. Nathaniel Roberts (’13) — 91����’s newest alumnus priest — tells his archdiocesan newspaper, The Catholic Standard. “Later in college the beauty of the ministry that they provided to us on the campus made me consider priesthood seriously for the first time.”
