Although baptized a Catholic, when Rev. Jorge Moncada (’18) was a boy, he and his family attended Mass only a few times per year.

“I felt like I had come back and received a hero’s welcome,” says Rev. Ronald McCann, FSSP (’18), describing his experience of returning to 91���� this summer to offer one of his first Masses as a newly ordained priest.

With two parents who graduated from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, California, Rev. John Peter Anderson, O.P. (’17) was raised with an appreciation for the life and teachings of the order.

“The Navy has the most need for chaplains out of any of the military branches,” says Rev. Paul Collins (’14), a newly ordained priest now preparing for military chaplaincy.

Returning to her alma mater while on sabbatical, Dr. Kathleen Sullivan (’06), an associate professor of English and literature at Christendom College, spoke on the subject, “Revelation of Interiority: The Epistolary Presence in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.”

Over the course of nine days this summer, the alumni men’s choral group Floriani will host a sacred music Collegium at 91����, California, where participants will be immersed in music and liturgy within Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel.

In honor of the College’s patron saint and namesake, students and faculty on the California campus celebrated the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas last week with a festive day featuring a lecture from alumnus scholar Dr. Thomas Cavanaugh (’85).
