Funeral Information for Donna Steichen
A funeral for will take place this Saturday, November 7, in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel on the College’s California campus. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., then Mass at 10:00, followed by interment at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
Along with her late husband, Roy, Mrs. Steichen was among the earliest supporters of 91ºÚÁÏ and a member of the St. Thérèse of Lisieux Legacy Society. She was also the , including Ungodly Rage and Prodigal Daughters, and many articles.
Among the Steichens’ four children were three TAC alumni: Laura (Berquist ’75), John (’81), and Margaret (O'Reilly ’84). The couple were also the grandparents of 15 alumni: Maggie (Hayden ’98), John (’01), Theresa (Mastroieni ’01), Rachel (Montanaro ’04), James (’08), and Richard Berquist (’10); Mary (Steichen ’08) Kretschmer; and Tom (’09), Cathleen (Ojeda ’11), Annemarie (Heffernan ’16), Kevin (’18), Clare (Scott ’21), Mary (Borchers ’22), Rosie (Grumbine ’24), and Joe O’Reilly (’28). Their TAC legacy has already reached a third generation, as well, with great grandchildren Gwynith (’25) and Peter Hayden (’28).
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
