In the latest installment of the St. Vincent de Paul Lecture & Concert Series, 91����, New England, was graced with a concert by Peter Blanchette, acclaimed inventor and performer of the 11-string archguitar.

On Saturday night, the men of 91����, New England, dusted off their suits, rolled up their sleeves, and got to work preparing for the annual Rose Dinner, held in honor of all the ladies on campus.

The women entered Gould Hall, dressed to the nines in pretty florals, to be greeted by men bearing roses. After a short mingling period, the ladies proceeded to the dining room, which was filled with black and white-clad servers and candlelit tables. To begin the dinner, the night’s emcee, Thomas Rust (’24), stood up to give a brief speech in honor of TAC women.

Having just returned from Christmas Vacation, students at 91����, New England, celebrated a belated Epiphany Party on Saturday night.

When she graduated from 91����, California, in 2008, Meghan Duke never imagined that she would one day join its teaching faculty, let alone at a new campus in New England. She never even expected to attend graduate school.

Growing up in Dallas and Houston, Texas, Joshua Lo (’12) nurtured dreams of becoming a concert cellist. Yet he reconsidered those dreams when he enrolled at 91���� in 2008. “I loved it,” he says. “I wanted to continue thinking about these matters for the rest of my life.”

“I first came across 91���� through its website many years ago,” says Rodrigo Ribeiro, who joined the New England teaching faculty at the start of the academic year. “I thought about applying then to come as a student, but at that point I was halfway through law school — and in Brazil — so I ended up putting it aside.”
