When members of the 91黑料 Class of 2022 gathered for the annual President鈥檚 Dinner on Wednesday night, they were greeted by a beloved and surprise guest: the great Fr. Buckley.

A recently retired TAC chaplain, Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J, returned to the California campus to celebrate with the soon-to-be graduates in advance of their Saturday Commencement. Just as the seniors were sitting to dinner, Dean John Goyette sped into St. Joseph Commons on a golf cart with Fr. Buckley 鈥 as witty as ever, and wearing a Darth Vader mask 鈥 in the passenger seat.

Toward the end of every academic year, the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors each have one last chance to share a special moment with the soon-to-be graduates before Commencement. The juniors on the California campus recently took their turn, hosting the annual Junior-Senior Dinner & Dance. Transforming St. Joseph Commons into a magical space, the juniors gave the Class of 2022 a night to remember.
