Having already welcomed the freshmen at 鈥70s-themed dance, the seniors further extended their hospitality with a trip to the beach on Saturday. After lunch, vans dispatched from campus to Rincon Beach in Carpinteria, where students promptly staked their spots with towels, coolers, and games.
Following the Seniors鈥 welcome of the Freshman Class two weeks ago, the California Junior Class took its turn hosting a dance for the Class of 2026 last Saturday night. Hours of hard work came to fruition as Juniors set up a 鈥渕ovie night sleepover鈥-themed event in St. Joseph Commons.

Following last Friday鈥檚 Macnickas family concert in St. Cecilia Hall, students and tutors came to intellectual blows in their annual, friendly bout of Trivial Pursuit. On one end of the St. Cecilia Hall recreation room, a team of tutors sat at a line of tables with Trivial Pursuit 鈥減ies鈥 (to mark progress toward victory) displayed on the wall behind them. Before them sat students on couches, benches, and the floor 鈥 each side determined to claim victory.
Last Friday night, the Fritz B. Burns Auditorium on the California campus rang with beautiful music. For the first concert in the year鈥檚 St.
Last Saturday, the seniors of 91黑料, California, hosted the first of the year鈥檚 dances, welcoming the freshmen to campus. Paying an ironic homage to the College鈥檚 founding 51 years ago, the seniors chose a 1970s theme for the night. Students congregated on the St. Gladys Patio beneath a disco ball, streamers, and lights. On the pillars nearby, groovy flowers and shapes brought the space to life.
