With reports of Tropical Storm Hilary dominating the news, you may have concerns about the safety of your students who are either on the California campus or on their way.

We have been monitoring the storm closely, and forecasts continue to show the campus as on the outer edge of the storm’s projected path. We expect rain throughout the day and tomorrow, which will be at its heaviest tonight, plus strong winds, but we do not expect any significant damage. Local authorities have thus far issued no flood or mudslide warnings.

Friday marked the third and final installment of the “trilogy” that is the three-day orientation for incoming students at 91����, California — a day consisting of some recreation, getting to know the campus, and preparing for next week’s classes.
