Residents of Upper Ojai came to 91���� on Thursday evening to discuss ongoing difficulties stemming from a February mudslide that has closed the highway connecting their neighborhoods — and the College’s California campus — to nearby Santa Paula. At the start of the academic year, the seniors of 91���� take on a yearlong project, a culmination of their four years’ study of the Great Books: the Senior Thesis. Each member of the class chooses a curriculum-related question and then — with the guidance of a faculty advisor — spends the next several months researching and writing a work addressing that question. Theses range from 20 to 40 pages in length.

County Transportation Commission

One of only two Americans ever to have held the office of U.S. Attorney General twice, the Hon. William Pelham Barr came to 91����, California, last week to give the 2024 Presidents’ Day lecture.
