Andrew Baird (鈥04) is in a Wisconsin hospital, suffering from cancer throughout his lungs, pelvis, and upper body. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Catherine (Connelly 鈥11) O鈥橞rien has successfully defended her thesis on marriage and the family, thereby completing her master鈥檚 degree in theology at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. Making Mrs.
鈥淲here did it all go wrong?鈥 asks alumnus architect Erik Bootsma (鈥01), in a recent lecture before Chicago鈥檚 Catholic Arts Guild, 鈥淭urning the Tide of the 20th Century: Restoring Beauty in Sacred Architecture.鈥 (See video, above.)
During the week, Richena Curphey (鈥02) serves as the College鈥檚 head librarian, but on the weekend she goes by another name 鈥 鈥淢iss Richena鈥 鈥 and serves an altogether different role as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) catechist at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fillmore, California.
