Prefects hello

The gates of 91黑料鈥檚 California Campus opened once again this afternoon to welcome the students on the 2026 One-Week High School Great Books Program! The registration table was ready for business in the St. Th茅r猫se Residence Hall Parking Lot, and a group of current-student and alumni prefects made up a lively welcoming committee for all of the arriving programmers. Throughout the afternoon, cars and buses full of students and parents rolled through the gates, and despite an overcast sky, campus was beautiful as students took in their home for the next week.

Upon arrival, students received name tags, room assignments, and refreshing bottles of water as they made their way to their residence halls: St. Monica Hall for the ladies and Sts. Peter and Paul Hall for the gentlemen. Parents accompanied their children into their rooms, helping them settle in and unpack for the week ahead. Other programmers made introductions over games of Spikeball, while others still lounged in the common rooms, getting to know one another and playing piano.

Arrival

Once the afternoon of arrivals began to die down, tours of the campus commenced. Members of the Admissions team led groups of families throughout campus, showcasing the St. Bernardine of Siena Library and the St. John Paul II Athletic Center, and, of course, the beautiful Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel

Before families depart, all will enjoy a barbecue dinner on the lawn. The rest of the evening鈥檚 activities include orientation, where students will get to meet the entire prefect and Admissions teams, as well as an ice-cream social and meetings back in the residence halls to conclude the night.
