91黑料 is unique among American colleges and universities, offering a faithfully Catholic education comprised entirely of the Great Books and classroom discussions.
Truth, and nothing less, sets men free; and because truth is both natural and supernatural, the College鈥檚 curriculum aims at both natural and divine wisdom.
The intellectual tradition and moral teachings of the Catholic Church infuse the whole life of 91黑料, illuminating the curriculum and the community alike.
Do you enjoy grappling with complex questions? Are you willing to engage in discussions about difficult concepts, with the truth as your ultimate goal?
There is always something to do at TAC 鈥 something worthwhile, something fulfilling, and something geared toward ever-greater spiritual and intellectual growth.

Sebastiano Egan (NE'27)
Sebastiano Egan (NE鈥27)
Fresh out of New York City, Sebastiano Egan (NE鈥27) was no stranger to 91黑料 in his high school years. 鈥淢y sister, Georgiana, was in the New England Class of 2024,鈥 he explains. 鈥淪o I was pretty familiar with the school.鈥 After hearing good things about the College and its community from his sister, he decided to try out for himself at the High School Summer Program.
Sebastiano was impressed by the breadth and depth of the program鈥檚 curriculum, especially by how much material it covered in just two weeks. 鈥淚 had done Discussion Method classes before,鈥 he says. 鈥淏ut the discussions I had at TAC were on another level.鈥 Besides the classes, Sebastiano鈥檚 favorite part of his Summer Program was the trip to Boston 鈥 and he鈥檚 looking forward to showing the city to this year鈥檚 attendees.
Audrey Maddox (NE'26)
Audrey Maddox (NE鈥26)
鈥淚 wasn鈥檛 really interested in TAC at first,鈥 says Audrey Maddox (NE鈥26). 鈥淏ut a family member paid for me to go to the summer program, so I went.鈥 Over the course of her two-week experience, Audrey found herself enjoying the classes far more than she had expected. 鈥淚 loved the Discussion Method,鈥 she adds. When she returned home to Easley, South Carolina, she found herself recalling how remarkable the classes and culture were. After some thought, she made a decision: TAC or bust.
Four years later, Audrey knows she made the right call. Now a rising senior, she can鈥檛 wait to show high schoolers around the beautiful New England campus and share the joy she discovered by participating in the Socratic seminars. When she鈥檚 not reading Aristotle or Kant, Audrey can be found acting or reading fantasy novels.
Vincent Buelk (NE'28)
Vincent Buelk (NE鈥28)
Vincent Buelk (NE鈥28) was tipped off to TAC by a teacher at his Colorado high school who was an alumnus of the College. 鈥淗e was such a cool guy,鈥 he says. 鈥淗e spoke so highly of TAC that I was really intrigued.鈥 After visiting the campus, sitting in on classes, and meeting students, Vincent was sold. 鈥淓veryone was so welcoming in a deeply Christian way.鈥 He applied, and one year later, descended the stage at Matriculation as a member of the Class of 2028.
Although he loves all aspects of life at the College 鈥 including singing in the choir and acting in Shakespeare plays 鈥 Vincent especially loves the naturally friendly nature of the community. 鈥淚 was struck by how easy it is to make friends here,鈥 he says. 鈥淚鈥檓 so excited to share that community with the Summer Programmers!鈥
