Two reporters for Vox, the online publication of the Mother of Divine Grace distance-learning program, recently the above interview with 91黑料 President Michael F. McLean. The 10-minute discussion focuses on the College鈥檚 lawsuit against the HHS Contraceptive Mandate, which is now before the United States Supreme Court.

鈥淭his case has been an occasion for us to take a stand on behalf of the Catholic faith and really manifest our love for the Church,鈥 says Dr. McLean. 鈥淲e are a seriously Catholic college. We are proud of that fact, and we try to witness to our students, our faculty, our benefactors, and our alumni the strength of our Catholic faith and our convictions about the truth of the Faith.鈥

Posing the questions to the College鈥檚 president are two students at the College, Kathryn Fox (鈥19) and Daniel Zepp (鈥18), former Vox editors-in-chief and graduates of Mother of Divine Grace. The online school, which provides curricular and teaching assistance to some 4,000 homeschooled students across the U.S. and abroad, was founded 20 years ago by its director, Laura Berquist (鈥75), a member of the College鈥檚 first graduating class.

鈥淲e are at a crucial stage right now in the litigation process,鈥 says Dr. McLean of the HHS lawsuit. 鈥淚 would ask you and your listeners to pray daily for a positive outcome, that all of these good Catholic organizations will be allowed 鈥 as they ought to be 鈥 to freely exercise their faith and offer insurance that is compatible with the teachings of the Catholic Church.鈥
