At the recently concluded Napa Institute conference, Catholic leaders from across the United States contemplated questions of God鈥檚 justice and mercy, aided by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas, and guided by two members of 91黑料鈥檚 teaching faculty.

For the fourth consecutive year, College officials hosted a breakfast and two seminars at this year鈥 conference, 鈥淓quipping Catholics in the Next America,鈥 at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa California. In keeping with the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the seminars examined the relationship between God鈥檚 justice and His mercy, as described in Question 21 of St. Thomas鈥 Summa Theologiae. Some 38 of the conference鈥檚 attendees participated in the two separate, but simultaneous, discussions, led by College President Michael F. McLean and Vice President Paul J. O鈥橰eilly.
