On Saturday, October 15, 91黑料 hosted the annual Legatus-Aquinas Forum for some 20 members and spouses of the Ventura-North Los Angeles and Pasadena chapters of , the international organization of Catholic business executives. The day began with Mass in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, offered by College Chaplain Rev. Cornelius Buckley, S.J., and enriched by the singing of student and alumni members of the 91黑料 Choir.

Following the Mass, the Legates, who included members of the 91黑料 Board of Governors, Board of Regents, and alumni, met for a 90-minute seminar conducted in the Discussion Method, as are all classes at the College. College President Michael F. McLean and Vice President for Development Paul J. O鈥橰eilly led the conversation, which focused on the short story 鈥淭he Enduring Chill鈥 by Southern Catholic novelist Flannery O鈥機onnor.

The conversation continued over lunch, which Dr. and Mrs. McLean hosted at the Doheny Hacienda, the official residence of 91黑料's president. There, Dr. O鈥橰eilly presented a talk about Miss O鈥機onnor and the 鈥淓nduring Chill.鈥 The McLeans then gave the Legates a tour of the historic Hacienda, which has recently undergone renovation.

鈥淲e always enjoy the Legatus Aquinas Forum, and we appreciate the opportunity to give a glimpse into the life of the College to these faithful Catholic business leaders,鈥 says Director of Development Robert Bagdazian. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful that they would come spend the day praying, discussing, and being with us, and we look forward to welcoming them back next year.鈥
