91

“91 is my alma mater, and a sweeter mother of learning I would be hard pressed to find.”

Among the eight young men received into St. Michael’s Abbey in Silverado, California, this year three are 91 alumni.

Jane (Forsyth ’11) Pallares always envisioned a scholarly life, perhaps as a college professor.

When Andrew Zepeda (’79) joined his alma mater’s Board of Governors at age 38, he was its youngest, newest, and first alumnus member.

Andrea (Sassman ’96) Loop’s journey from a questioning evangelical to a faithful Catholic began at 91, where she found not only the truth of the Church but also a unique, loving community.

Wife, mother of seven, nurse, veteran, tireless friend, champion of the Catholic faith

Five 91 alumni are helping to rebuild the local workforce, reinspire interest in blue-collar trades, and support the Native American community in Gallup, New Mexico, and its surrounding cities.
